Absurd Sports Faces

This is Russia's Evgeni Plashenko practicing for the men's figure skating competition at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.  

Let’s be serious, everyone at some point in time has taken a photo that they found unflattering.  Athletes are constantly under the scrutiny of professional photographers who are taking thousands of photos of them at various sporting events and even practices.  Athletes are competitors and are focused on winning, and thus are not even thinking about taking the time to pose.  From time to time, photographers capture hilarious pictures of athletes in motion, right before they complete that awesome dive, dismount or throw.  Enjoy these pictures of athletes in action!
